Information to be posted over the next while about the history of Interix (nee OpenNT), what you can do with it, how to enhance it, etc. Interix was first a product by Softway Systems Inc. (SSI) before it was acquired by Microsoft. At Microsoft Interix was released at first as a stand-alone product before being a component of Services for Unix (SFU). The components of SFU became absorbed for the Windows base OS release starting at Windows Server 2003/R2 (W2K3). From this point the marketing wizards decided to call it Subsystem for Unix-based Applications (SUA). You may select from the menu at the left. Contacts
